Didiplis diandra is a useful in the midground or background areas of the aquarium, where it can develop into a lovely, thick bush with pretty green foliage in lower light that will show a beautiful bronze coloration in better light and with supplemental CO2. Didiplis diandra stays shorter and bushier than many other stem plants so is more easily managed as a midground plant. Trim it hard to maintain the shape you want, the more you trim, the bushier it will get. Remember that you can replant the cuttings to grow new plants too!.
