There are several forms of Anubias 'nana' being sold in the trade all with slightly different characteristics. Anubias 'nana' is one of the most popular aquarium plants in the aquatic plant trade. It can be used in terrariums as well as aquariums and even will tolerate the harsh conditions of Cichlid tanks. The rhizome must be kept above the substrate surface or it can rot. Only the white roots should be buried.
